Do I need to worry about altitude sickness in Lijiang?
Lijiang Ancient Town is at 2,400m (7,874 ft), which is generally fine for most. However, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain reaches over 4,500m. We recommend taking it easy on your first day and carrying oxygen canisters for the mountain trip.
Are cars allowed inside Lijiang Ancient Town?
No, Lijiang Ancient Town is a pedestrian-only zone. Our private cars will drop you off at the closest entrance to your hotel, and we can arrange luggage assistance.
When is the best time to see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain?
Autumn and Winter (October to April) offer the clearest skies and the best chance to see the peak without cloud cover.
